A Journey Essay

The best journey in my life. Two years ago I went on a trip with my friend Paulina and her older brother, Max. I had to save a lot of money because I wanted very much to go on this journey with my friends. We planned our trip to take us around Europe. We were going to stop in various parts of Europe with family members and friends.

Our final destination was Paris. When we arrived in Paris, it was everything I dreamed of and more. The Eiffel Tower was so beautiful and the city itself was just fascinating. We spent our days walking around, exploring all Paris had to offer. We ate at some of the best restaurants and even got to see a few shows.

Overall, it was the best trip I’ve ever been on and I would love to do it again someday. Paris is definitely a city that I will never forget.

We came to London first. We touched down at Gatwick Airport after a two-hour flight, of course, and booked our tickets in advance, which saved us a lot of money. My cousin and her husband were there to meet us when we arrived at the airport; it was wonderful to see them again. We stayed with Mary and her spouse in a semi-detached home about ten minutes’ drive from the city center in England.

It was a very old house that had been in their family for many generations. Paris was the second stop on our trip and it was breathtaking. We stayed near the Eiffel Tower in a small hotel which cost quite a bit of money but was worth it because of the amazing views. The tower itself is even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures. We spent most of our time in Paris exploring the city and all it had to offer. The food was incredible, the people were very friendly, and the history was fascinating.

The last stop on our journey was France. We rented a small apartment in a town called Nice which was right on the water. It was so beautiful and peaceful there. We spent our days relaxing on the beach, swimming in the ocean, and just enjoying each other’s company.

This trip was definitely the best journey of my life and I will never forget it. Paris is definitely one of the most romantic places in the world and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a magical experience. If you are thinking about taking a trip to Paris, I would say go for it, you will not be disappointed!

We were fortunate enough to stay with relatives, so we were able to save our money for some of the fantastic sites in London. We visited the London Eye, Big Ben, and the Museum of Waxworks. In a city that never sleeps, we experienced evening life during our last night together. Max went to a traditional English pub while I went shopping at a shopping center because girls like to shop everywhere.

When we met up to go home we were all exhausted but it was the best journey of my life.

Paris is a city of love and dreams. For me it was a city of firsts. It was the first time I had been on an airplane, the first time I had been outside of North America, and the first time I had seen the Eiffel Tower. Paris was everything that I hoped it would be and more. The food was amazing, the sights were beautiful, and the people were so friendly. One of the highlights of my trip was seeing the Eiffel Tower lit up at night.

It was truly a magical experience. Another highlight was visiting Notre Dame Cathedral. The architecture is unbelievable and it’s so fascinating to learn about the history of the cathedral. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things that I experienced in Paris, but suffice it to say, it was an amazing trip and I will never forget it.

The five days we spent in London went by so quickly, and we didn’t have enough time to see everything. We purchased a lot of fantastic things, which was wonderful because we were there. On the sixth day of our trip, we took the express train through the La Manche Channel to Paris. It was a long and monotonous journey, but the train itself was very comfortable.

Paris was everything I dreamed it would be and more. The city was so beautiful and the people were so friendly. We spent our days exploring the city, going up the Eiffel Tower, visiting museums, and eating delicious food. Paris was truly a magical place and I will never forget my time there.

Trains in France and England are superior and more exclusive than those in Poland. We had a lot of luggage as a result of our shopping adventure, and Paris was rapidly approaching. In Paris, we stayed with Paulina’s brother near the city center. His home was located on the seventy-sixth floor of a magnificent skyscraper that gave us panoramic views of the whole city. The city amazed us greatly. We went to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Paris is an incredibly beautiful and romantic city, definitely worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. England was also great, we saw Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. We even managed to get tickets to see a play on Broadway. Overall, it was the best journey of my life and I would never forget it.
