I was drawn to the Sony desktops when I walked down the isles among isles of desktop computers at CompUSA. SONY is a well-known, high-quality manufacturer, and over time I’ve seen that everything they produce appears to be a winner.
I like Sony because they provide excellent customer service and have a name that I can trust. Sony also has great financing options.
Sony is my top pick for a desktop computer because they make a quality product. I would feel confident purchasing any of their computers knowing that I would be getting my money’s worth in terms of quality and durability. Sony also has a good reputation for providing excellent customer service, which is important to me. Finally, Sony offers great financing options, which is important given the high cost of some of their computers.
After a while, I decided that I needed a PC with enough power to complete the most difficult tasks. I eventually wound up deciding on the Sony VAIO RA834G Minitower for its compact size and superior performance. There were more parts in this PC than I required, and the price was just too good to pass up. This computer piqued my interest because of its processor. The processor is an Intel Pentium 4, which is a popular model.
But the Sony had an interesting array of other parts that set it apart from the competition. The Sony came with a 160 GB hard drive, which was huge at the time. It also had 1 GB of RAM, and a DVD burner. Not only was this computer powerful, but it looked great too. The Sony VAIO RA834G Minitower is black and silver and just oozes sophistication. I was in love.
Eventually I took the plunge and purchased my Sony VAIO RA834G Minitower. I have never regretted it for a moment. This computer has handled everything I’ve ever asked of it and more. From video editing to simple web browsing, this machine has never let me down. If you’re in the market for a new computer, I highly recommend giving the Sony VAIO RA834G Minitower a try. You won’t be disappointed.
I’m glad Sony stuck with Intel because it’s an American product. The processor they used is the Intel Pentium 4 3.6Ghz 560J with HT Technology, which is great. It’s wonderful that they decided to employ Hyper threading since it really helps speed up multi-tasking and reduces lag considerably. The 3.6 GHz processor is fast and can handle even the most complicated activities without delay.
I’m also impressed with the 4 gigs of RAM they’ve decided to put in. I think it’s a great idea that Sony is making sure their computers can be future-proof by being able to accommodate even more RAM if the user decides to upgrade in the future. The 4 gigs should be plenty for most users but it’s always good to have the option to increase if needed.
Sony also offers a built in webcam with their computer which is very neat and forward thinking. Webcams are becoming increasingly popular and it’s nice that Sony has included one with their computer. I also like that Sony offers a lot of different ports and connections. There are four USB ports, an Ethernet port, an HDMI port, and even an SD card reader which is very convenient.
Overall, I’m extremely pleased with Sony’s new line of personal computers and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a new computer. Sony has really outdone themselves this time and I think they’ve set the bar high for other brands.
The bus speed is also quite remarkable, coming in at 800 solid Megahertz’s. With just one successor, the 1066 Mhz speed, this is an exceptionally rapid bus speed. Intel designed the motherboard chipset. It’s a well-designed chipset that works well with the RAM selected for this computer. Sony picked the Intel 915P Express Chipset to drive PC3200 DDR SDRAM at 400 Mhz in harmony.
The Sony Vaio comes with a very nice selection of ports. It has the standard 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 Firewire IEEE 1394 port, and also i.LINK that Sony likes to call it S400 port. The Sony comes with a few more video outputs then the Dell does as well. It boasts a DVI-I connector in addition to the standard 15-pin VGA output. This is very convenient for those who have monitors that can take advantage of the DVI input. My personal computer would not be complete without…
An impressive video card was placed in this Sony model to display pictures flawlessly. Sony went with the ATI Radeon X600 XT Platinum Edition graphics card. This card is top of the line and will provide excellent graphics whether you are playing the latest games or just watching a DVD. The Sony Vaio comes with all the connections that you could need to get on the Internet. It has an integrated modem, Ethernet connection, and also wireless 802.11g connection.
The Sony Vaio comes equipped with a very nice sound system as well. It uses Sound Blaster Pro compatible 16 bit stereo sound. This is great for playing games or watching movies because you will be able to hear every little detail. There are also six built in speakers so that you can really enjoy your music or movies.
It seems like Sony thought of everything when they put this computer together. They chose high quality components that work well together to provide the user with a great experience. This is the type of computer that I would love to own. Sony did a great job with the Vaio PCV-RX550DS.
Sony has always been a trusted name in electronics, so it’s no surprise that their personal computers are top notch. The Sony Vaio PCV-RX550DS is a great example of a high quality Sony computer. It starts with the Pentium 4 processor running at 3.2 Ghz. This is a very fast processor that can handle just about anything you throw at it.
