My Hopes & Dreams

I have high expectations for myself and what I’m able to accomplish this fall at Mount Olive College. I have set very ambitious goals for myself and have adjusted what I feel is a well-planned strategy to achieve them. I am filled with eagerness and optimism as I prepare to unleash my intellect, ideas, and resolve’s force.

I want to be an excellent student and leader in school and in the community. I have thought long and hard about what I want to achieve during my time in college and beyond. I want to get a degree that will help me get a great job so that I can provide for myself and my future family. But more than just a great job, I want a career that I am passionate about and that will make a difference in the world.

I also want to be an active leader in my community. I want to get involved in causes that are important to me and make a difference in the world. I have always been interested in social justice and environmental issues, and I hope to continue working on these issues in college and beyond.

Finally, I hope to continue growing as a person during my time in college. I want to learn more about who I am and what I believe in. I want to challenge myself intellectually and emotionally. I want to explore new things and meet new people. College is a time for growth, and I am looking forward to learning and growing as a person during my time at Mount Olive College.

I know it’s going to be a lot of hard work and that it will take a long time. Also, there’s the bittersweet aspect of giving up elements of my life that I’ll need to alter in order to succeed. But my grandfather has always said to me, “Anything worthwhile is worth working for.” I’m both my own worst critic and greatest supporter. I am aware that the only person who may prevent me from achieving my goal is myself.

So with that in mind, I am going to work hard and achieve my dreams. I have always been a dreamer. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian because I loved animals. Then I wanted to be a teacher because I loved working with kids. But now, as I am getting closer to graduating high school, I have realized that my true passion is writing.

I love writing because it allows me to express myself in ways that I never thought possible. When I write, I feel like I can be anyone or anything that I want to be. And that is something that is really important to me. I know that achieving my dreams is going to take a lot of hard work and dedication.

I’m ready to join the party, and I’m not about to let anyone or anything stand in my way! I’m eager to embrace college life full-on and enjoy all it has to offer. It’s true that keeping my job and school loads balanced is a little intimidating, but it’s a challenge I’m happy to take on.

I know that college is going to open so many opportunities for me and I am ready to take them all on!

I want to better myself in every way possible while attending college. I want to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually. I want to expand my knowledge in areas that interest me and challenge myself academically. I also want to get out of my comfort zone and try new things while meeting new people along the way. Overall, I just want to have an amazing college experience that I can look back on fondly for years to come.

I’m mostly looking forward to the taste of victory and the sensation of accomplishment. I have people around me who believe in me and want me to shine like a star, as I have always done. Then there are those negative individuals close by who pretend to want you to succeed but are actually waiting for you to fail.

I pay more attention to the people that want me to succeed than those who don’t. I also hope to gain new knowledge and understanding of things I haven’t been exposed to before. I want to be challenged in my thinking and be able to engage in intelligent conversations with others. I want to be able to contribute something valuable to society.

Lastly, I hope to find true happiness and contentment in life. I want to be able to look back on my life and feel like it was meaningful and well-lived. I don’t want any regrets.

I can’t wait to prove those people wrong and see the expression on their faces when I walk across the stage and get my degree. I’m a turn their negative intentions into positive motivation and use it to drive me even harder towards my hopes and dreams. I can’t wait to see my mind and thoughts grow and evolve more and more every day.

I’m going to enjoy every minute of high school and learn as much as I can so that I can be even more prepared for my future.
