English class has always been one of my favorite classes. I’ve always been a good student when it comes to English, and I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing. This year, however, English class has been a bit of a struggle for me. I’m not sure if it’s because the material is more difficult or if I’m just not as interested in it as I used to be. Either way, I’ve been struggling to keep up with the workload and get good grades.
Thankfully, my teacher has been very understanding and helpful. She’s given me extra time to complete assignments and offered help outside of class. I’m grateful for her patience and support, and I’m determined to do better in English class this year.
I love reading and creating. Since I was a youngster, I have spent my time immersing myself in books and getting caught up in other people’s ideas and words. When writing, I immersed myself in my own thoughts and language. English has been a deep passion of mine since as long as I can remember. My future job is to pass on the arts of and the loveliness of English to someone else.
English has always been a difficult subject for me, I have never really excelled in it but I have never given up. In high school English was my worst enemy, I would study and study but when it came to English exams I would always choke. After graduating high school English still followed me like a dark cloud over my head, whenever someone asked me what my favorite subject was English was not an option. My battle with English continued until sophomore year of college, that is when I decided enough was enough. Sophomore year I took Intro to Creative Writing and that is where everything changed for the better.
This class allowed me to explore different aspects of writing that I had never even considered before. We wrote poetry, short stories, character sketches, and even delved into a little bit of playwriting. This class allowed me to fall in love with English all over again. I was finally able to see English not as a enemy but as an ally. Even though I had always loved reading and writing, I never realized how much English had to offer. There are so many different genres and styles of writing that I had never even heard of before taking this class. Since taking Intro to Creative Writing, English is now one of my favorite subjects.
This class has also helped me become a better writer. Before taking this class, I considered myself a decent writer but after taking this class, I realize that there is always room for improvement. This class has helped me become a more confident writer and has given me the tools I need to continue improving. I have also learned how to give and receive constructive criticism, which is an essential skill for any writer.
I am so grateful that I took this class and that it allowed me to see English in a whole new light. This class has truly been a game changer for me and I cannot wait to see what the rest of my English classes have in store for me.
I want to be able to have someone care about english as much as I do. Maybe I won’t be able to get them to love it, but I’d at least want to pass on the lesson that English is important. I don’t want to miss out on the greatest possible chance of taking an advanced English class where I know I’ll enjoy being a part of it. This course offers me so much and will help me develop in all sorts of ways.
This class has really pushed me to be the best that I can be and I want to continue to be better. I never realized how much work goes into English and I am so grateful for this class. It has shown me that if you try hard enough, you can do anything. This is one of the most important lessons that I have learned this year.
I used to think that english was just about reading and writing, but now I know that it is so much more than that. English is about understanding different cultures and perspectives. It is about communication and connecting with people. It is such a beautiful language and I am so lucky to have been able to learn it.
This class has been a great experience and I am so grateful for it. I have learned so much and I know that I will continue to learn more. English is a lifetime journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
Being a kid is difficult, especially when you have so much pressure put on you. Being in an AP class means skipping a section of your life and acting like an adult. You must act as if you were an adult and think as if you were an adult. As a result, it’s somewhat frightening, maybe even terrifying, but everything will work out in the end. When it comes to listening to others’ ideas, thoughts, and discussions, I’m amazing at absorbing everything they say to me. I try to understand what that person is going through by taking in all of the information they give me.
English class has really brought out the best in my abilities as a listener and has also allowed me to think more critically. English class has shown me how to be able to communicate better with others. In English we have had many discussions about different novels and stories. I’ve never been one for literature, but this class has made me see how interesting it can actually be. Everyone has their own interpretation of the novel or story, and that’s what makes it so great. It allows you to see things from a different perspective other than your own.
English class has also helped me become more confident in myself. I am not the best writer, but this class has definitely helped me improve my writing skills. I am now able to look back at my previous essays and see how much I have grown as a writer. English class has also helped me to be able to better understand others when they are speaking. I am now more patient when listening to someone, and I am also better at catching on to things.
Overall, English class has been a great experience for me. It has helped me grow as a person and has also allowed me to see things from a different perspective. I am now more confident in myself and my abilities, and I am also more patient when listening to others. English class has definitely been a great experience for me, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a challenge.
