Short Term Goal Essay

I get asked when I’m going to retire and start my own business. Others think it would be wonderful if I became this or that. As far as I’m concerned, the only thing I dream about while sleeping is sleep deprivation. Dreaming to me is similar to making a wish and waiting for it to come true. However, setting objectives is taking the first steps towards achieving your primary goal and getting where you want To live your life

My first goal or what I like to call my “main goal” is to finish all of my general education classes at a community college. This is important to me because, one it will be free and I won’t have any debt when I graduate and two, I want to get all the credits I need out of the way so that when I do transfer to a four-year university, transferring will be a lot easier.

Which leads me into my second goal; joining the Air Force. The Air Force has always been something that has sparked my interest since high school. After doing some research on the internet and talking with friends/family who have served, it seems like its something that would suit me well.

Not only does the Air Force have great benefits, but its also a great way to see the world and get an education. And lastly, my third goal is to retire from the force and take care of my siblings. This is important to me because I come from a single-parent household and my mom has always worked hard to provide for us, so I want to be able to do the same for her and my siblings when she retires.

I graduated from Morgan County High School in 2012. I started down my path to success after high school by enrolling at Georgia Perimeter College (GPC). Since high school, I’ve been known for giving up on myself and quitting when things got difficult. You just have to pick your head up and press on, no matter what you’re going through.

After my first semester at GPC, I was having a really tough time and decided to just stop going to school. My mother always told me that if I start something, I need to finish it. So after a long talk with my mom, I decided to go back to school and finish what I started.

It has been almost two years now since I have been back in school and I am doing great. In May of 2014, I will be graduating with my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, I plan on getting a job working with children. Once I have been working for awhile and saved up some money, I would like to go back to school and get my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I cannot wait to start my career.

Even though it has been a long and hard road, I am so glad that I made the decision to go back to school and finish what I started. My education is very important to me and I want to be able to show my children that no matter what life throws your way, you can always pick yourself up and finish what you started.

I just need to be ready to put in the effort. I attended GPC for two semesters before transferring to Georgia Military College (GMC). I’m at GMC now to finish my base courses so that I can get all of it finished and start working toward my life career. Once my basic classes are completed, when I join the Air Force, I’ll be able to begin doing hands-on training. There are many other military branches for which you may serve, but right now, all I’m concerned about is the Air Force.

The first step I have to do is join the military, which shouldn’t be too difficult. After that, I can start working on my other goals. Another one of my short-term goals is to get good grades and learn as much as possible while I am in college. My long-term goal is to graduate from college and get a good job. My goal after that is to find a career that I love and can see myself doing for a long time.

I know that if I am willing to put in the work, I will be able to accomplish all of my goals. I am excited to start working towards my future and making my dreams a reality.

The United States Marine Corps, the United States Navy, the United States Army, and the United States Air Force are all part of the military. “Your Ideas May Be The Difference.” I’m ready to get started in my profession after I’ve passed the asvab. My cousin John inspired me to pursue a career in law enforcement. Just seeing how he lives now is amazing. After serving four years in the air force, I’ll be happy to retire if it’s what I want to do.

My short-term goal is to graduate high school and get accepted into the Air Force. Once I join, my long-term goal would be to at least stay in the Air Force for 10 years and retire with a good pension. Hopefully everything goes according to plan and I achieve both of my goals. Join me on this journey as I try to better myself and serve my country at the same time. Who knows, maybe your idea could change everything too!

I can resume school in the Air Force, but instead of paying for it myself, I will be paid to attend. As a result, I’m thrilled to be able to travel across the world, meet new people, and most importantly obtain an education that will help me find a job in the future.

As a short-term goal, I hope to finish my degree within the next two years. After that, I plan on either continuing my education by getting a masters degree or starting my career in the Air Force. Either way, I know that I need to get a good education in order to be successful in life.

I also have some personal goals that I would like to achieve while I’m in the Air Force. First, I want to learn how to speak Spanish fluently. This is something that I’ve always wanted to do and it will be very useful in my future career. Second, I want to become physically fit and healthy. This is important to me because I want to be able to live a long and healthy life. Lastly, I want to save up enough money to buy my own house.

I know that all of these goals are achievable if I set my mind to it and work hard. I’m excited for the next few years and all that I will accomplish.
