In life, you are influenced by many individuals. Some people are beneficial and others are detrimental to your development. Despite the fact that he was an awful guy, my father was one of the best influences in my life. My father gave up a lot of his time and energy throughout his lifetime in order to make my siblings’ lives better. Because of my father, I am who I am today.
I have learnt so much from him and he has made such a great impact in my life. I owe him everything.
Without my father’s guidance, love and support I would not be the person I am today. He has always been there for me when I needed him and has never given up on me. I am so grateful to have him in my life. He is my role model and I aspire to be like him one day.
My father was raised by his oldest sibling, who is also my uncle. When my father was young, his mother became ill and his father abandoned the family. My father’s mother really died in his arms when he was six years old. I would have never been as brave or resilient as my father has been and continues to be.
My father was the one who taught me how to be a man. He always told me that I had to be twice as good as anyone else if I wanted to make it in this world because of the color of my skin. My father has been my best friend, my confidant, and my hero. He has made such a great impact in my life that I cannot imagine living without him. Thank you, Dad, for everything. I love you.
Dad went to the military, where he fought in the Vietnam Conflict, which was a traumatic experience in his life. Dad shrieks at night from what he witnessed during that conflict. He married mother after and had us, children. In father’s eyes, his family comes first before anything else.
He always wanted the best for us and would do anything to make sure we were happy. Even though he was never rich, he always found a way to get us whatever we wanted or needed. Dad always tried to spend as much as possible time with us, whether it was going out to eat, movies, parks, or just sitting at home and talking.
Even when we moved away from him, he made sure to visit us as often as he could and kept in touch through phone calls and text messages. When my sister was having problems in her marriage, dad drove out to where she lived and helped her move back home. He has always been there for us no matter what.
Dad is now retired from the army but still works hard every day. He volunteers at the local animal shelter and helps take care of the animals there. He also does a lot of work around the house and is always fixing something or building something new.
I can’t imagine my life without my dad and I am so grateful for everything he has done for me. He is truly the most amazing person I have ever met and I know that I am lucky to have him as my father.
My father has instilled in me the value of respect for others. Dad is a very significant individual in my life, not just because he is my father, but also because he is a strong and wonderful person in my eyes. No matter what happens to you in life, pick yourself up and keep going forward as before. He believes that anything that does not harm you makes you stronger. There are no excuses in life for you to give up and be inactive.
Life is too short to be wasted away like that. You have to push through the tough and rough times and come out on top shining like a star. Life will always have its up’s and downs but it is our responsibility to stay positive and work hard through the downfalls.
If you give up then you will never know what would have been or could have been. Life is a beautiful thing that should not be taken for granted. Life is something we should all cherish every day because we never know when it can be taken away from us. Life is precious and should not be wasted away. We all need to remember that each day we wake up is another chance to make our dreams come true so don’t let anything stop you from going after what you want in life.
I want to thank my dad for everything he has done for me and always being there for me when I need him. He is my role model and I aspire to be just like him one day. I love you, dad!
